I have a diverse background in landscape construction and maintenance operations. I’m also process oriented, highly organized, and have an eye for technical detail.
Seek out and surround myself with quality people; develop a business environment that allows them to not only utilize their talents, but excel; provide them the resources they need – and try not to interfere too much.
With 30 years’ experience in the landscape field, I have had the privilege of working with many professionals in just about every facet and seeing some beyond-belief beautiful places. I have learned greatly from those experiences, and am proud to be a part of making our world even more beautiful as a result.
I see my main responsibility today as continuing to create a culture at LandWorks that will provide our staff the best opportunity to absolutely love what they do – as I do – so they might also benefit from that same level of gratification. That all translates into getting better at what we do every single day, delivering what we promise, enjoying rewarding careers, and, most importantly, working tirelessly to please our customers.
I enjoy anything outdoors, team sports, golfing, fishing, grilling and watching my garden grow. It sounds weird, but I actually enjoy reading owner’s and technical manuals (I like to know how things work) and maps (I like to know where roads lead). I love taking my Harley for joy rides around Wisconsin. What a beautiful state we live in.
