In my personal life and my work life, I believe in working hard and doing the right thing. Over years working in various fields, I’ve developed a strong customer service ethic that centers on personal touches. Your garden should reflect your lifestyle, and I want to create spaces that foster memories – and, hopefully, make the environment a little healthier at the same time.
My path to landscaping was a bit of a meandering one, but customer service and outdoor living have always been central. Prior to joining LandWorks as a crew member, I studied every aspect of horticulture offered at Gateway Technical College and worked for a high-end residential landscape architect in northeastern Illinois.
My first LandWorks season taught me what it takes to get the job done, and I loved getting my hands dirty taking care of many of our clients’ gardens. As a Client Service Representative, I still enjoy the days when I can jump in with the crew, but my main focus is making sure that we meet – and exceed – our clients’ expectations.
Whether it’s managing regular maintenance sites, creating stunning seasonal color displays, renovating perennial gardens, or handling last-minute issues, there’s always something to learn about. I love the challenge every day.
I’m a born-and-raised “Yooper” (that’s Upper Michigan native), so my love of nature runs deep. I drag my son on little hiking excursions all summer long, and we love camping. I also lived in Chicago for 15 years, so I’m still hooked on chasing a little bit of urban adventure now and then. I enjoy visiting museums, trying new restaurants, and going to music events. Travel is hugely important to me, and I’m looking forward to experiencing more of the world with my son.
