Summary

We are seeking a Pesticide Applicator to join our team at LandWorks. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various treatments to enhance the health and appearance of landscapes. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining the beauty of outdoor spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform granular and liquid lawn fertilization and weed control and pesticide applications according to safety regulations and best practices
• Monitor plant material for insects, disease, and pests
• Identify and diagnose lawn problems
• Responsibilities will adjust seasonally, flexing into different areas

Schedule

• Work 10-hour days, dispatching at 7 am

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work 10-hour days
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes based on weather
• Repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting more than 50 pounds
• Exposure to a variety of noise, dust, dirt, vibrations and fumes
• Exposure to inclement weather and outdoor environment

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a pesticide applicator is required
• Plant identification knowledge is required
• General landscape maintenance knowledge is preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Valid Category 3 pesticide certification
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Job Type & Pay

• Full-time position
• Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
